The Parent Work Shop is a TGC Learning Center program emerging from needs identified in the Metro area by professional organizations serving families, children, and adults. The Parent Work Shop is an educationl program designed to teach life-skills to families, children, and adults.

• A customizable menu of free and fee-based services allows the program flexibility to provide varying levels of education to meet patriciants’ needs.
• Community education sessions, free and low-cost, provide an overview of parenting practices promoting positive approaches for improved outcomes.
• Intensive education is a fee-based service available for family groups which offers structured training and skill building.
• Fee-based coaching is provided to families requesting assistance in using newly learned skills.
• Assessments and referrals are a provided resource to families experiencing ongoing issues through which therapeutic interventions, offered by professionals outside of TGC Learning Center, are most appropriate.
